Homeopathic Medicine for Lost Voice

Antimonium crud. (Thrice a day): Loss of voice on account of excessive heating of the body or after over-use of the voice.

Argentum met. (Thrice a day): Loss of voice from too much singing or shouting. Voice breaks during singing. Hoarseness may result from much singing and shouting. Total loss of voice in professional singers.

Aurum met. 1M (One dose only): Sudden loss of voice in singers or public speakers after lengthy speaking. It also cures hoarseness in such cases.

Borax 1x (One dose only): A piece of Borax 1x (sodium borate) of the size of a pea, dissolved slowly in the mouth, acts magically in restoring the voice in case of sudden hoarseness brought on by cold. For an hour or so, it renders the voice clear and silvery.

Carbo veg. (Thrice a day): Loss of voice with hoarseness after a debilitating disease.

Causticum (Thrice a day): It is worth trying for loss of voice whether from psychological or inflammatory causes, when there are no other symptoms for accurate prescription. Loss of voice due to a defect in the larynx

Coca Q, 5-6 drops every ½ hour: When a singer or a public speaker experiences loss of voice during singing or speaking, give 5-6 drops every half an hour, about two hours before the expected demand on the voice.

Croton tig. (Thrice a day): There is complete loss of voice from drinking cold water or cold beverages, when overheated.

Ferrum pic. (Thrice a day): Voice fails after public speaking or singing.

Phosphorus (Twice a day): Loss of voice with laryngitis and constant hawking.

Populus candicans Q (Thrice a day): It is a remarkable voice restorer, restores almost instantly. It removes hoarseness and dryness of the larynx and pharynx, rawness and soreness of the throat and tones up the voice.
