Homeopathic Medicine for Hemoptysis – Spitting of Blood

Acalypha ind. Q (Twice a day) 5-10 drops in ½ cup of water: Cough with bloody expectoration. Pure red blood comes in the morning and dark lumps of clotted blood in the evening.

Cinnamomum Q (Thrice a day) 5-10 drops in ½ cup of water: Spitting of blood – especially when there is foul odor in the blood and in the mouth.

Hamamelis Q (Thrice a day) 5-10 drops in ½ cup of water: It is considered as a specific remedy for the cure of this disease.

Ipecacuanha (Thrice a day): Spitting of pure red blood with nausea or vomiting.

Millefolium (Thrice a day): Blood spitting originating from a disease.

Nux vomica (Thrice a day): Hemoptysis of bright red blood, usually in the mornings.

Phosphorus (Twice a day): Blood spitting with dry, tight, fatiguing cough, intermixed with expectoration of mucus.

Sepia (Thrice a day): Hemoptysis in millers from inhaling flour dust.

Stannum met. (Thrice a day): Hemoptysis with a tendency to copious expectoration.
