Homeopathic Medicine for Light – Photophobia

Belladonna (Thrice a day): General photophobia. Likes to wear sun glasses always. Aversion to light in eye troubles.

Calcarea carb. (Thrice a day): Sensitive to light which causes lachrymation. Sunlight cannot be tolerated.

Crotalus hor. (Thrice a day): Very sensitive to light, specially lamp light.

Elaps cor. (Thrice a day): Aversion to light. Letters run together when reading.

Graphites (Twice a day): Intolerance of artificial light like that of electricity, lamps and candles.

Mercurius sol. (Thrice a day): The light of the fire is intolerable. It dazzles the eyes. Also dislike for day light. Foundry light is not tolerated.

Nux vomica (Thrice a day): Photophobia worse in the morning. Must blink eyes several times to become accustomed to light.

Rhus tox. (Thrice a day): General dread of light. Eyes cannot be opened for sometimes in light.

Silicea (Thrice a day): Aversion to light, specially day light. It produces dazzling.
