Homeopathic Medicine for Nose

Antimonium crud. (Thrice a day), Petroleum (Thrice a day): Nostrils ulcerated and cracked.

Arsenicum alb. (Thrice a day): Acne on the nose.

Arum triph. (Thrice a day): Nose obstructed, must breathe through the mouth. Burning in the nose and constant picking of the nose until it bleeds. Large scrabs high up in the nostrils.

Arum triph. (Thrice a day), Ammonium carb. (Thrice a day), Kalium sulph. (Thrice a day), Psorinum (Thrice a day), Sticta pulm. (Thrice a day), Teucrium mar. (Thrice a day): Nose stopped. Must breathe through the mouth Look for other symptoms and select anyone of these remedies.

Asafoetida (Thrice a day): Numbness of the nose and caries of the bones of the nose.

Aurum met. 200 (One dose daily): Abscess of the nose. Painful ulcers. Fetid discharge.

Baryta carb. (Thrice a day): Smell of smoke in the nose.

Borax 3x (Thrice a day): Red nose in young women. Red shining swelling with throbbing. Tip swollen and ulcerated.

Bryonia alba (Thrice a day): Swelling of the tip of the nose.

Calcarea carb. (Thrice a day): Dry nostrils which are sore and ulcerated. Stoppage of nose. Discharge is fetid and yellow.

Capsicum (Thrice a day): Tip of the nose is shiny red; tickling in the nostrils.

Chelidonium (Thrice a day): Flapping of alae nasi.

Cina (Thrice a day): Itching in the nose. Patient is often seen rubbing his nose with his hands.

Hepar Sulphuris 1x (Twice a day): It often starts secretion and profuse drainage in stuffy colds of the nose. Nose stopped when going out. Two doses produce the desired results. Painful abscess of the nose.

Kalium bich. (Thrice a day): Sensation of fullness and blockage on either side of the nose. Mucus drips down the back of the throat. Snuffles of children specially in fat and chubby babies.

Kalium carb. (Thrice a day): Nose obstructs in a worm room. Sore and ulcerated nostrils. Bleeding from nose on washing the face in the morning.

Kalium nit. (Thrice a day): Polypus of the nose, worse right nostril. Nose feels swollen with itching worse towards morning and afternoon.

Lachesis (Thrice a day): Red nose of drunkards. Bleeding. Nostrils sensitive.

Lachnantes tinc. (Thrice a day): Bridge of the nose as if pinched.

Lycopodium (Thrice a day): Feeling of dryness and ulcerated nostrils. Nose obstructed. Nose congested when tired. Flapping of lower portion of nostrils.

Lycopodium (Thrice a day), Pyrogenium (Thrice a day), Ferrum phos. (Thrice a day), Chelidonium (Thrice a day): Fan like movements of the alae nasi. Flapping of alae nasi. Select the remedy on other symptoms.

Medorrhinum 1M (One dose only): Intense itching in the nose and the tip of the nose feels cold. Chronic nasal and pharyngeal catarrhs with obstruction of the posterior nares. Nose dirty. Thick yellow mucus from nostrils.

Mercurius bin iod. (Thrice a day): Bones of the nose are swollen.

Mercurius sol. (Thrice a day): Pain and swelling of the nasal bones, caries and ulceration. Yellow green fetid pus like discharge from the nose.

Natrium carb. (Thrice a day): Many troubles of the external nose – pimples and puffiness. Obstruction of the nose.

Pothos (Thrice a day): Red swelling across the bridge of the nose.

Sambucus nig. (Thrice a day): Snuffles in infants. Nose dry and obstructed. Child cannot draw milk from the nipple due to blockage and suffocation. Child wakes up blue.

Sanguinaria (Thrice a day): Nasal polypi. Ozena with profuse, offensive, yellowish discharge. Nose feels obstructed. Sneezing.

Silicea (Thrice a day): Itching at the tip of the nose. Bleeding when hard and dry crusts are removed from the nostrils.

Teucrium mar. (Thrice a day): Soft polypus of jelly like consistency.

Triticum rep. 1x (Thrice a day): The patient is in the habit of blowing his nose always though not suffering from cold.

Trombidium (Thrice a day): Discharge from the nose while eating or drinking or bending the head. This is entirely relieved by the use of this remedy.

NOTE: Nose has important functions – not only acts as a smell sensor, it also acts as a cleaner by trapping dust, pollen or foreign particles which may be present while inhaling air. It acts as a purifier by destroying bacteria and viruses. It acts as a humidifier by adding moisture to the inhaled air. It alerts to detect toxic gases.
