Aconitum nap. (Thrice a day): Any complaint of ovaries after exposure to dry cold winds.

Alumen (Thrice a day): Tumor of ovaries with obstinate constipation.

Apis mel. (Thrice a day): An important remedy in the affection of ovaries. Congestion in the right ovary causing soreness in the inguinal region with burning and stinging. Swelling. If there is numbness down the thigh, this remedy is surely indicated. It is also useful in the affection of the left ovary. Inflammation of ovaries during childhood. Suppression of menses due to tumor of ovaries.

Aurum iod. (Thrice a day): Ovarian cysts.

Aurum met. (Thrice a day): Induration of the ovaries.

Belladonna (Thrice a day): Acute ovaritis. Throbbing pains appear and disappear suddenly and appear again. Bearing down sensation. Pains are worse right side.

Calcarea carb. 200 (One dose daily): Polypi of uterus and ovaries. Cutting pains in uterus during menstruation. Menses too early, too profuse, too long lasting with vertigo. Feet icy cold. It is a very successful remedy under these conditions.

Colocynthis (Thrice a day): Ovarian pains relieved by bending double. Cystic tumor.

Conium mac. (Thrice a day): Ovaritis. Ovary enlarged and indurated with lancinating pain. Ill effects of suppressed sexual appetite or suppressed menses.

Graphites (One dose daily): Swelling and induration of the left ovary with delayed scanty menses. Pain in the right ovary.

Hamamelis Q: Warmed mother tincture applied externally on the ovaries, relieves pain of ovaritis, instantly. It is also useful given orally in case of injuries to the ovaries.

Iodium (Thrice a day): Atrophy of ovaries. Ovaritis. Wedge-like pains in the right ovarian region. Dwindling of mammary glands.

Kalium brom. (Thrice a day): Cystic tumors of the ovaries with increased sexual desire.

Lachesis (Twice a day): Pain in the left ovary relieved by discharge from the uterus. Cannot bear tightness about the waist and loins. Tendency of the affection to move from left to right. Chronic enlargement of the ovaries. Tumor or cancer of the left ovary or both ovaries.

Lecithinum 3x (Four times a day): Ovaries inefficient or not working adequately. 4 doses per day for 8 weeks.

Medorrhinum 1000 (One dose only): Pain in the ovaries, worse left side or it may move from ovary to ovary.

Mercurius cor. (Thrice a day): Ovarian neuralgia. Sticking pain in the left ovary.

Oophorinum 3x (Thrice a day): Suffering following removal of ovaries. Ovarian cyst. Atrophy of ovaries. It is said to help production of eggs in women who are sterile due to non-production of eggs.

Palladium met. (Thrice a day): A good ovarian remedy for pains and inflammation. Pain and swelling in the right ovary. Cutting pain in the uterus, relieved after stool. Most indicated in proud ladies who like flattery.

Phosphorus (Twice a day): Polypi of ovaries with running, leucorrhea, worse lying on painful side and better by a cold bath.

Sabal ser. Q (Twice a day) 10 drops in ½ cup of water, Onosmodium (Thrice a day): Ovaries tender and small.

Silicea (Thrice a day): Cysts in vagina and ovaries with icy coldness of the whole body.

Staphysagria (Thrice a day): Ovaritis due to masturbation.

Thuja occ. (Thrice a day): Polypi of the ovaries, ovaritis worse left side and every menstrual period with profuse perspiration before menses.

Viscum album (Thrice a day): Ovarialgia specially of the left ovary.

Xantoxylum (Thrice a day): Neuralgia of ovaries. Pain in loins and lower abdomen, worse left side extending to thighs.

Zincum val. 2x (Thrice a day): Painful affection of the ovaries. Pain shoots down from the limbs to the feet. Requires a long time to cure.

NOTE 1: Research has revealed that about 7% women have several painless small cysts in the ovary and this causes infertility, obesity, acne, irregular or absent menses and excessive facial and body hair.

NOTE 2: Any woman who experiences the following symptoms for more than two or three weeks can be suffering from a cancer of ovaries:

  1. Bloating, a feeling of fullness or gas in the abdomen.
  2. Frequent and urgent urination.
  3. Nausea, indigestion, constipation or diarrhea.
  4. Menstrual disorders or pain during intercourse.
  5. Fatigue or backache.

Such a cancer can be easily detected by a combination of pelvic and rectal examinations, a blood test and a transvaginal sonogram.
