Homeopathic Medicine for Pharyngitis

Arum dracontium (Thrice a day): Throat is raw, tender and sore; pharynx is inflammed. Shooting pain in the ear maybe present. There is a continuous effort to clear the throat. Hoarseness and excess of mucus in the posterior nares.

Belladonna (Thrice a day): Swelling of uvula and stinging in the throat. Pharyngitis with small bleeding ulcers.

Cistus can. (Thrice a day): Dryness of the throat, patient likes to drench it by sipping water. Pain in the throat worse by inhaling cold air.

Elaps cor. 6 (Thrice a day): For chronic naso-pharyngeal catarrh with greenish crusts and bad smell, it is specific.

Kalium bich. (Thrice a day): Pharyngitis with tough stringy and ropy mucus. Sensation of a thorn in the throat.

Kalium mur. (Thrice a day): A routine but a good remedy for the disease. Tonsils are swollen.

Lycopodium (Thrice a day): Difficulty in swallowing. Mucous membrane of the throat appears pale.

Mentholum (Thrice a day): It is curative in pharyngitis. Use 2 doses a day.

Natrium mur. (Thrice a day): Suits the patients of pharyngitis with constipation, dryness of the throat and excessive thirst.

Phytolacca dec. (Thrice a day): Pharyngitis with small white ulcers in the throat. Pain in the throat with a bluish look.

Sanguinaria (Thrice a day): Pharyngitis, worse on the right side. Appearance of redness in the throat.

Silicea (Thrice a day): Pharyngitis with a sore throat and chronic catarrh.

Sticta pulm. (Thrice a day): Coryza with a frequent desire to blow the nose.

Wycthia (Thrice a day): It is an excellent remedy for pharyngitis and for singers and public speakers. Throat is irritable and there is a dry hacking cough due to tingling in the larynx.
