Homeopathic Medicine for Polypus – Soft Tumor

An abnormal growth from the mucous membrane resembling a tumor but not cancerous; commonly found in the nose, uterus, rectum and sometimes in the ear and larynx. There is a risk of the polyp becoming cancerous or increasing in size or number.

Alumina (Thrice a day): Polypus of the left nostril of the nose. The peculiar constipation confirms the use of this remedy.

Berberis vulg. (Thrice a day): Polypus of the vocal cord without roots and having an angry reddish look.

Calcarea carb. 200 (One dose only) Repeat after one week: A good remedy for polypus of the nose, ear, bladder, uterus, etc. It should be repeated after 7 days. Mucus polypus which bleeds easily.

Calcarea iod. 3x (Thrice a day): Polypi of the nose and ear.

Calcarea phos. (Thrice a day): A large polypus of the nose extending to the brain.

Cholesterinum (Thrice a day): Polypus of the gall bladder in a pre-cancerous stage. Burning pain in the liver region. Genera! debility.

Conium mac. (Thrice a day): Uterine polypus which protrudes while passing urine. Bleeding polypus of the nose.

Formica rufa (Thrice a day): Stops development of polypi and reduces the size. It is an effective remedy, especially for polypi of the ears.

Kalium bich. (Thrice a day): Polypus of the air passages.

Kalium nit. (Thrice a day): Polypus of the nose or elsewhere specially on the right side with headache or heaviness of the head after eating and in the morning or towards the evening.

Lachesis 200 (One dose only) Repeat after a week: Polypus of the left ear with severe pain. Sensitive to air.

Lemna minor (Thrice a day): Nasal polypi. Swollen mucous membranes of the nose. Atrophic rhinitis. Fetid smell. Reduces the obstruction of the nose by reducing the swelling.

Mercurius sol. (Thrice a day): Polypus. Blockage of the ear, bleeds easily and affects the hearing. Right ear is mostly involved.

Phosphorus (Twice a day): Nasal polypi bleeding easily. Handkerchief is always bloody. Imaginary odors. Craving for cold drinks. Sneezing. Polypus of the uterus.

Sanguinaria (Thrice a day): Polypus of the nose or larynx. Smarting and burning in the nose and throat. Nose obstructed. Bleeding from removal of crusts.

Sepia (Thrice a day): Polypi of uterus with copious menses.

Silicea 6x (Thrice a day): Blockage of nose; nostrils inflamed. Patient chilly. Perforation of septum.

Taxus baccata Q: Bright red polypus of the ear with shooting pain is cured by the use of this remedy. A single dose gives results.

Teucrium mar. CM (One dose only) Repeat after 15 days: It is one of the best remedies for polypus of the nose. Three – four doses repeated after an interval of 15 days usually cures permanently. It cures polypus of the rectum also. Blockage of the nose on the side patient lies on. It cures polypus of vagina too. Polypus is soft and of jelly-like consistency.

Thuja occ. 20 (One dose only) Repeat after a week: Polypus of the middle ear and uterus with a chronic tendency.
