Homeopathic Medicine for Pyorrhea

Calendula off. Q: It reduces the inflammation of the gums and also avoids formation of pus. 10 drops in an ounce of water may be used as a mouth wash and little of it may be swallowed.

Emetinum 1x: Thrice daily for three days and go on reducing gradually. Stop when cured.

Hekla lava (Thrice a day): When there is thick, pus-like discharge and foul smell from the mouth.

Kalium carb. (Thrice a day): All the teeth are loose. Bad smell from the mouth.

Plantago major Q: It is a clinically reputed remedy for treatment of teeth and gum diseases. There is profuse flow of saliva and toothache which is better by eating. Pain in worse touch, cold air and contact. A few drops in warm water can be used as a mouth wash.

Mercurius sol. 200 (One dose only): It is a remarkable remedy for pyorrhoea to avoid extraction of teeth, spongy gums and bad odor from the mouth.

Rhus g. Q: It can be applied locally on the soft, spongy gums. Its use will also cure bad breath, which is generally present in cases of pyorrhoea.

Silicea (Twice a day): It is an excellent remedy for this disease when it has taken a chronic form. Painful inflammation of the gums with gum boils.

Symphytum off. Q: 2 grams in 8 ounces of water is a good application to the gums in these cases.
